I Felt Inpired…

Today, I felt inspired to create artwork.  Often times, I find myself too busy to sit down and create art for fun, but, today I made it a priority.  These are a few pictures that I took on my kitchen floor.  I added some of Julie Mixon’s textures and applied a few color editing techniques to change a simple picture into a work of art.  Julie’s textures, borders, and brushes are available for purchase on her website.  I hope you enjoy.

This is a picture of a pottery pitcher with bamboo shooting out. This is one of my favorites.

This is Chunk. She wouldn't hold still long enough to take a full-body picture, but her face will do.

This is Jazz. Not only is she cute, but she is also very snuggly.

Thanks for Stopping By

First of all, I would like to thank you for visiting my website.  I can’t tell you how wonderful it feels to have my friends and family share in what I am most passionate about.  I hope you stop by frequently to check out the amazing people I photograph.  Thank you!

Today, I wanted to share a few pictures I took of little Miss Leah.  She is absolutely adorable and one of the best models around.  I took these photos last week at Eastern Elementary School.  Our task was to have a photo shoot based around the March issue of East Carolina Parenting Magazine.  Our theme was “birthdays”.  In the meantime, I decided to capture this little girl’s amazing personality.  For a 5 year-old, she’s got it going on!
