Nicole and Matt: Greenville, NC Wedding Photographer

I was so lucky to be a part of Nicole and Matt’s wedding day.  They are so in love and it shows in every one of their photos….

The groomsmen were awesome!  They didn’t complain at all when I had them do crazy things for great pictures.  One of them said, “I didn’t realize that we would be running football drills during our pictures”.

I LOVE Nicole’s flowers.  Aren’t they gorgeous?!?

This is one of my favorites

These girls can jump….

…and run!

This is by far one of my favorite moments I have captured during a wedding.  This is what it is all about….capturing the emotion.

Every time I see this one…I want to cry.  Nicole is such a beautiful  bride.

Look at the way Matt looks at his wife….wow!

I love using textures in my photos.  I purchased all of my textures from Julie Mixon.  She’s awesome!

It was such a special day!  Being a wedding photographer has to be one of the best jobs on this planet.  I still get moved to tears every time I photograph someone’s wedding.

Just for Fun!- Greenville, NC Wedding Photographer

Boy…did I have a good…scratch that…GREAT……time over Thanksgiving!!  Not only am I extremely fortunate that my family is loving, supportive, and fun…but they are also my best friends.  Crazy things happen when we all get together.

For instance…we all got to Mom and Chuck’s house on Wednesday night.  We always get a Christmas tree on Wednesday night…it’s tradition!  Thank goodness we were the only folks on the Christmas tree lot, because I’m sure others would’ve thought we were crazy!  We were running all over the lot playing hide-and-go-seek with the kids.  It was so much fun!  After that, we headed back to house and somehow stumbled upon an “Old-Skool Hip Hop” radio station.  Thank goodness none of us had video cameras to document the goofy dancing, because it could’ve totally be used for blackmail.

Anyway…Thanksgiving was a blast!  I was able to laugh a lot, and forget all of the worries I’ve been carrying.  I’ve realized that life is too short to be so serious…so why not laugh, love, and dance to old-skool hip-hop!

On a different note…Cheri and I (Cheri is Walt’s (my oldest brother) wife) were on our way to my Dad’s house and found this barn.  I’ve always wanted to stop and photograph this barn, but I never did.  Well…I felt like ceasing the day.  So, we pulled over and had a mini-shoot.  It was perfect!  The lighting….weather….everything.  It was the perfect time for a shoot.  I even taught Cheri how to use my camera to take a few of me….she did an AWESOME job!

Check ‘em out:

Cheri is workin’ it on this one!  I LOVE IT!

Isn’t this barn amazing!  I wish it were closer to my house.

Check out Cheri’s eyes….B-E-A-U-T-F-U-L!!!

Cheri’s laugh is one of my favorites!  Her smile brightens a room.

I’m learning how to let people take pictures of me.  I’ve always felt awkward in front of the camera.  It’s always nice to switch roles to see how my clients feel.  The more I have my picture taken…the more I like it!

This is my ALL TIME favorite!  WOW!

For the Love BOGO Deal!

As many of you know, I have been planning a workshop/retreat in the Great Smoky Mtns with Lauren Clark and Erik Clausen.  Registration has been great, but we wanted to finalize our numbers as soon as possible to wrap up our plans.

This is GREAT NEWS for you!

We have decided to run a BOGO sale (buy one get one FREE!).  We are doing this for several reasons.  1.  This is great for husband and wife photography teams  2.  Friends and colleagues can share this amazing experience with each other.   3.  Let’s face it, the economy has put a damper on all of our pocketbooks (or wallets).  This sale will help those who are strapped for cash.

This also benefits us!  Why?  1.  We can get our numbers finalized,  2. We can fit more people in one cabin because those who split the BOGO deal will share beds.   3.  This helps increase the number of attendees because we aren’t as limited by the number of beds.  We see it as a win-win!

Here’s the deal…the BOGO sale is only this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! (November 20th-22nd)

You can find out more information by checking out For the Love’s blog: www.fortheloveworkshop.com/blog.  We know there are several of you who can’t think of anyone to split the deal with.  If this is the case…reach out and connect with other photographers who are also in your same position.  You can always send a “shout-out” on the For the Love blog or our facebook fan page.

I have a few pictures to show you what you have to look forward to…

This is one of our cabins!

Check out some of the places we will be photographing!

We have tailored the classes for both beginner, intermediate, and advanced photographers.  We are confident that no matter where you are…you will learn exactly what YOU need to launch your career/passion to higher levels of success.

We can’t wait to see you in the Smokies!

New Website!!!

It’s really a funny story how I came about getting a new website…

Basically, my friends in Lubbock, TX helped me to realize that my current website was not at all a reflection of my personality.  They admitted that it was a “pretty” site for another photographer, but not for “me”.  I’m learning more and more how everything you do…from the way you dress, the music you listen to, the colors you like, the textures you gravitate towards…are all a part of your “brand”.  I didn’t understand these things when I was creating my first website.

If you’ve been following me on Twitter or Facebook, you could see that I have been working 15+ hours a day on getting caught up with editing, building a new website, and For the Love Workshop registrations and promotions.  I guess I wouldn’t be “Ginny” if I weren’t constantly spinning more plates that I could handle.  But, somehow, through it all, I survive and I’m always happier for it.

Needless to say, I’m happy to give you a sneak peek of my new image.  I’m so thankful for Lauren Clark, Shari Henson, Memoree Barrett, Amy DeYoung, and Lauren Zaffos for taking the time to help me discover my brand.  It was a great self-discovery process.

My new website is going to be clean, simple, bright, and fun.  I can’t wait for you to see it!

Here’s just a tiny taste….my new logo!  What do you think?

What a Great Weekend!

I admit it….I’m the world’s worst at taking my camera to family functions.  I usually depend on my 2 mp camera phone to capture all the amazing things I experience on a day to day basis.  But, I’ve turned over a new leaf…I documented my amazing weekend, and am so excited to share it with you.

Saturday…my aunt and uncle (Wina and Dennis) gave us 4 tickets to the Tarheels vs Miami game.  It’s not uncommon for them to give us tickets, (We are so fortunate to have such generous family members) but it is uncommon for me to have a free Saturday…so I was MORE than excited.  We also brought along my mom and step dad, Chuck.  We had SOOO much fun!  Mom is absolutely hysterical, and Chuck and Shane are like two peas in a pod.  Check out a few pics from the game.

Is my mom hot or what?!?

Sunday…following an amazing service at Greenville Christian Fellowship (GCF), Shane and I went to his parent’s house to eat lunch.  Debbie (Shane’s mom) is a master cook!  In my opinion, she puts Paula Dean to shame :)

I had so much fun photographing our niece, Haley.  I was her personal jungle gym.  I would simply lay on the floor and she would climb all over me…including a nose bleed :)   Check out my favorites…

Our last stop on Saturday was my big bro’s house.  I was able to capture a few priceless photos of Noelle (my other beautiful niece).  I’m convinced that if I’m ever having a bad day, I could just look at Noelle and she would make me feel better.  I have never seen a baby who smiles as much as her.  Check out a few of my favorites…

I am so thankful for my family and such an amazing weekend.  God is good!

The Feyer Family: Greenville, NC Photographer

I had so much fun photographing the Eric, Ann Michelle, and baby Addisyn.  Luckily we just missed the rain.  Check out a few of my favorites!
