Important:  How Do I tag you?

The only way that I can keep up with the contestants is if I am tagged correctly.  (In the past, people have just typed in my name, but that doesn’t show up on my page.)  So, here’s how to tag peeps on facebook.  First, you have to already be a fan.  To do that, simple find “Ginny Corbett Photography” on fb and click the “like” button at the top.  Then, type something snazzy in your status update bar with my name in it.  To tag me, put the “@” (you will see a drop down box of all your friends).  If you go ahead and type @Ginny… I should pop up, and simply click on my name…that will link your status update to my page.  Twitter is much easier.  All you have to do is type out @ginnycorbett and it will automatically tag me.

Do I HAVE to be engaged?

No, I’m looking for an engagement style shoot, but you can be married, dating, or engaged.  (It’s cool if I’ve already done your engagement shoot as well).

As some of you know, I have the most amazing assistant on this planet. Allison Dameron is completely passionate about making my (and your) life easier. I say this a lot…I’m the LUCKIEST girl on this planet!  I love love love what I do!  I love everything about being a wedding photographer…my clients and especially capturing memories that will be treasured for a lifetime.  I love helping plan details about their wedding, as well as, photographing it.  I also adore engagement shoots, it’s the time that I really get to know my clients.  We joke, we laugh….we make awesome memories.

After Rhonda and Travis’ photo shoot, my face actually hurt from smiling so much.  How can you NOT smile at these two?  Rhonda’s laugh is contagious…Travis absolutely adores her.  They are perfect for one another.  I’m lucky to be their wedding photographer!

I absolutely love Robbie and Brenna.  We taught together at Eastern Elementary School.  I was a 4th grade teacher, Robbie was 5th, and Brenna had the 2nd grade cuties.  Robbie and I shared a huge classroom that was split by a divider.  If you know me personally, you know I am pretty loud.  If you know Robbie, you know that he is ALSO very loud.  Our poor students could hear everything the other teacher was teaching.  Often times, after a stressful day of teaching, Robbie would come over to my classroom and we would toss the football back and forth venting about our frustrations.  Unfortunately, sometimes…when I would get too excited…I would through what we call a “duck”.  I cannot even count how many windows and fans I almost busted with our football.  Ahhh….good memories

A couple of months ago, I met Jennifer and Jonathan at Starbucks to chat about their upcoming wedding.  There was an immediate connection there.  They are the cutest couple!  Jennifer giggles all the time, and Jonathan sits back relaxed…what a cool combo!  In exactly 6 months and 1 day, Jennifer and Jonathan will get married.  I simply can’t wait!

I am reaching the end of my big travel season.  Since January, I have been to Tennessee twice, West Virginia, Texas, Vegas, California, and Oregon.  It has been tough staying on top of editing and orders.  I have one more week before I head to Colorado to shoot a wedding.  After that, I will be home for a while…planting flowers, working on my tan, and of course editing and posting all the fun photos from my adventures.  So, I will be chipping away at my To Do list between now and then.  Here’s a few photos from some of my most recent shoots.  I can’t wait to share with you the entire blog posts.
