Meredith Andrews and I go way back…….way…..way back!  My mom and her mom used to room together in college.  We grew up in the same church, and were radically changed by God’s love when we were in middle school.  Lot’s of things have changed since middle school, but one thing remains the same…..our friendship.  It doesn’t matter how many miles apart we are, or how long it’s been since we’ve seen each other, Meredith will always be one of my best friends.  I’m so excited for Meredith and Jacob’s new addition.  All I know is, that baby is going to come out with amazing hair and incredible musical talent.  Make sure you check out Meredith’s new cd, “As Long as it Takes”.  It’s awesome!

I am reaching the end of my big travel season.  Since January, I have been to Tennessee twice, West Virginia, Texas, Vegas, California, and Oregon.  It has been tough staying on top of editing and orders.  I have one more week before I head to Colorado to shoot a wedding.  After that, I will be home for a while…planting flowers, working on my tan, and of course editing and posting all the fun photos from my adventures.  So, I will be chipping away at my To Do list between now and then.  Here’s a few photos from some of my most recent shoots.  I can’t wait to share with you the entire blog posts.

My Spring mini-shoots this past Saturday came out GREAT!  I had 11 back-to-back 30 minute photo shoots.  I photographed over 49 different people, most of which were children.  My amazing sister-in-law, Cheri,  helped out in the morning.  She’s incredible!  The daffodil field was packed!  I was lucky to find little spots in the field that nobody else wanted.  I walked away with only minor cuts and bruises, a mild case of poison ivy, and only 1 tick!  It was definitely a great day!!

Yesterday, I was invited over to Beth and Tuggy’s house to meet and photograph their beautiful new addition, Kayden.  As I was uploading the pictures, I was reminded that I never posted their maternity pictures.  Check out this beautiful family!

I was so happy when Hannah contacted me to photograph their beautiful new baby, Eisley.  Ray and Hannah are such an amazing couple.  They love each other completely, whole-heartedly, and simply delight in each other.  It’s so refreshing to be around them.

Beaty, Carrie and I go WAY back.  My parents and Beaty’s parents were best friends.  My mom and dad actually led his parents to the Lord.  In high school, Beaty, Carrie, and I led worship at Potter’s House, which was a high school/college ministry my brother, Walt, started.

Beaty actually played a huge part in leading Shane to the Lord.  Now, we live in the same neighborhood, sing in the same worship band, and hang out as much as possible.  We are absolutely thrilled about “Hallie Grace”.  We can’t wait for her arrival.   We love their family, and we are blessed to call them our friends.

I don’t have long to write, but I did want to share with you a few pictures of my best friend, Allisons’ baby girl.  I’m convinced that Allison is the REAL Superwoman…she survived 2 epidurals and countless pricks in the back.  She’s my hero!

This morning, as I was reading the bible on my front porch, I took a second to look up at the sky and thank the Lord for all the wonderful things He has blessed me with.  As I looked up, a huge gust of crisp wind blew through my hair, and I was captivated by the beauty of God’s creation.  The sky was extraordinarily blue and the grass was vividly green.  I was overwhelmed by this beautiful picture, and I knew that it would be a waste not to capture this glorious day.

So, I posted a little note on Facebook, jokingly stating that I wish I had models in my pocket for days like today, and the Lilley’s were quick to respond.  I’m so thankful that they did, because it would have been a shame not to have documented this glorious day.  Please enjoy a few of my favorites.
